Sam Instone is an internationalist whose practice focuses on the provision of cross border financial services, international advisory issues and offshore tax planning.

As a Director of AES International he is responsible for helping the organisation to achieve its corporate mission of introducing positive change to international financial services. He believes this is best done by exporting UK best practice, training and competency, systems and controls and ‘post RDR’ professionalism to the rest of the world.

A former British Army Officer, Sam commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst into The Household Cavalry Regiment from where he was selected for service with Airborne Forces. His final posting was as a Captain of the Queens Life Guard in London.

A graduate and former student Chairman of King’s College, University of London, Sam is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance and the Personal Finance Society.
