Evolve Financial Planning was formed with the belief that high-quality, professional financial advice and planning can only be achieved through a transparent, fee-paying relationship, free of the stigma and potential for bias associated with a commission driven service.

All of our financial planners hold the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner licence and four members of our team were awarded prestigious Chartered Financial Planner status at the start of 2006, making us one of the best qualified financial planning teams in the UK. We were delighted to be named as the UK’s first Chartered Financial Planner firm in May 2007. This is an important step in the development of our business and something that all of our team are extremely proud of.

James has 13 years’ experience in the UK financial services industry. He started his professional career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1993, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

In 1999 James’ interest in personal investment matters led him to a leading firm of private client stockbrokers and investment advisers, based in central London.

During his time as a stockbroker, James became increasingly aware of the importance of advising his clients on all aspects their personal financial affairs, rather than just concentrating on their investment portfolios. It is for this reason that he studied for the prestigious Certified Financial Planner qualification, which he was awarded at the end of 2004 and decided to become a financial planner.
