Alan Dick has over twenty years experience in financial planning and is currently principal of Forty Two Wealth Management.
Alan is passionate about financial planning and is one of a few planners in the UK to hold both Certified Financial Planning and Chartered Financial Planning status. He is regularly quoted in the leading financial press including The Financial Times, The Herald, Retirement Planner, City wire etc. He is also in demand as an expert speaker on investments and financial planning for conferences, radio and TV. He is a Director of the Institute of Financial Planning and serves on the Scottish branch committee of the IFP.
When not advising clients Alan is a keen guitarist and bass player having played with Geno Washington, Deacon Blue, and Jim Diamond and was twice nominated for Guitarist of the Year. He is a keen skier and mountain biker.
