We are part of the largest group of independently managed financial advisers in the UK.
Honister Partners believes that independence is vital to delivering solutions that fit your needs. Advisers within the group do not work to targets or have sales managers telling them to sell more products. The advisers do what they believe is right for you.
A financial adviser in the UK has two options, to work for a product provider or to act for the client. Honister Partners thinks there is only one correct answer and that is to act for you.
More than one third of Honister Partners' clients deal with more than one adviser. The strength of the community allows and encourages specialism so when a need cannot be met with your original adviser, you may be introduced to another. This focus on strengths demonstrates that the value of the whole group is greater than the sum of its components.

After school, I studied Business Finance at Dundee University which confirmed my previous desire to pursue a career in the financial world. In 2000 I joined the graduate training scheme of Inter-Alliance, giving me a fantastic initial insight into the IFA world, providing training for exams and working within a support role for a team of 3 advisers. I was always interested to see how we could help clients improve their financial position, and was surprised how often this was actually possible.
I am now operating my own, growing network of clients, ranging from small businesses to individuals of all ages, with hugely differing needs and planning requirements.
I specialise in retirement and investment planning, focusing on ensuring tax efficiency and planning for the future.
