Type of Adviser: Independent (What's this?)

LEBC Group was established in 2000, the vision being to create a national company dedicated to providing expert, and truly independent financial advice to all clients. We have achieved this aim by employing only highly qualified IFAs, many of whom are of individual Chartered Financial Planner and/or Certified Financial Planner status, the two main gold standard qualifications in the financial planning and advice profession.

Our consultants advise from a position of informed expertise, underpinned by the highest ethical standards and with a common philosophy: to forge long term relationships with clients.

LEBC has now grown to a UK wide operation, with 61 authorised individuals attached to 14 offices and also working remotely to cover an area from South Wales to East Anglia, from Edinburgh to Exmouth and from London to Londonderry.

Client relationships are of paramount importance to LEBC and we feel that to be most effective, our advice must be delivered in a long term relation

Trevor is one of the UK's 200 or so most highly qualified financial planners, holding as he does both the CII's gold standard Chartered Financial Planner qualification, and the IFP's Certified Financial Planner (CM) title.

Trevor Durham joined the financial services industry as a trainee adviser in 1997, straight after graduating from University College London with a degree in Astrophysics.

Practising in central London, Trevor became fully independent in 2000. After working in the City for a while, followed by a couple of years spent working in Cambridge, Trevor moved to Wales at the end of 2005. Trevor's wife is native of South Wales and was keen for the family to relocate to the area.

Only a couple of hundred financial planners in the entire UK, and only seven others in the whole of South Wales, have completed enough study and practical financial planning experience to hold both the Chartered and Certified qualifications.
