Based in Stewarton, I have clients in the Glasgow area - inclusing East Kilbride, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr. After graduating from the University of Strathclyde with a Masters degree in business administration (MBA), I qualified as a financial adviser in 1993. Initially I joined a company called Laurentian Milldon, part of Laurentian Life. Although I received a very thorough training which enabled me to give my clients good, generic financial advice, I soon realised that I could not give my clients the service they deserved unless I became an independent financial adviser (IFA), able to offer advice from the whole of the market. I became an IFA in 1997 and have been a Partner in Positive Solutions since 2003.
