1. Registration
   Users and Advisers are required to register with Rubii. Registration is free.
   Users only need to register at the point when they are looking to make contact with an Adviser, comment on a blog or to create an account.
   Advisers need to register to access the service. An Adviser is classified as a regulated financial adviser in the UK, and who has appropriate qualifications and an FSA registration number.

   Please note, that Rubii cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of Adviser submissions.

2. Forgotten password
   If you have forgotten your password you can reset it using this link forgotten password.
3. Changing username and passwords
   Whether you have forgotten or simply want to change your username or password, you can use this link to do so. Go to change my username or change my password.
4. Changing personal details
   You can update or change your personal details, as long as you have your username and password. Go to update my account.

About Rubii

1. How Rubii makes its money
   Rubii generates revenue from two sources; income from regulated financial advisers for leads and from website advertising.

   Rubii charges Advisers registered to the service an 'introduction fee' at the point that the Adviser accepts a meeting or consultation request. This fee varies dependent upon the product and level of information provided.

   Across sections of the website you will see advertising placements from financial advisers and other relevant advertisers.

   This combination of lead fee and advertising revenue allows Rubii to provide its service to Users free of charge. If you want know more about Rubii, go to About Us.

2. Advertising
   Rubii offers a range of online advertising options and packages. If you interested in advertising on www.rubii.co.uk full information can be found online or simply email your requirements to ads@rubyfinancial.co.uk.
3. Adviser listing and ranking
   Advisers are listed by the data they input about themselves. Please see the application form.

   The ranking of Advisers is determined by two key factors; firstly the relevance of the search query and, secondly, the level of recommendation other Users have indicated.

   As you would expect from a service such as Rubii, any Adviser advertising on the website bears no influence on the Adviser rankings.

Regulation and Security

1. Privacy
   Ruby has a Privacy Policy and follows strict guidelines set out by the IDM and ICO. All search data is held anonymously. Contact data is not released to any registered Adviser or 3rd party without prior agreement from the User. You can read Rubii's Privacy Policy here.
2. Regulation
   Rubii provides functionality to search and find a registered financial adviser - such as an IFA, wealth manager, pension, tax or financial planning consultant. Therefore, Rubii is currently not required to be registered with and regulated by the FSA. However, Rubii does follow the compliance guidelines as set out by the FSA and adheres to best practice in web compliance. 3. Accuracy of Entries and Profiles
   It goes without saying that more accurate the information you input in to Rubii the more accurate the search results will be. Rubii's aim is to help our Users to more easily identify the right adviser who may be able to meet their needs, as well as to assist Advisers to more effectively pre-qualify potential clients.

   The functionality of Rubii is there to guide Users and Advisers in the creation of detailed and accurate profiles. Rubii cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the information provided by either the User or Adviser.

4. Data Protection
   Rubii has implemented a strict data protection policy, which can be read here. The website secure logged in section is contained within the latest SSL encryption technology.

   Rubii is registered at the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and has a data compliance officer. Rubii is committed to treating data to the highest standards of data compliance. We will never sell your personal data or pass it to a third party without your prior consent.

For Users

1. How do I contact an adviser?
   It's simple to contact an Adviser on Rubii. Once you have made your selection from the Adviser search results, you can arrange an appointment, either in person or over the telephone.

2. When can I expect to hear back from an adviser?
   Rubii requires all Advisers to accept or decline a User meeting request within 1 working day. A working day is considered to be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, excluding public holidays).
3. What to do if I don't hear back from an adviser?
   Whilst Rubii expect all financial advisers to respond within in the specified time on 1 working day, if you do not receive a reply, Rubii will automatically send an auto-reminder to the Adviser, prompting them to contact you via Rubii immediately. Additionally, Rubii will contact you via your Account to provide details of other relevant Advisers who may be able to help.

   We make visible, on all Adviser profiles, the number of meeting requests responded to and not replied to, so that you can see immediately how efficient an Adviser is before you request a meeting.

4. How are ratings calculated?
   Every User who has an advice request accepted will be sent a short email questionnaire by Rubii following the meeting. This provides the User the opportunity to rate the service provided by the particular Adviser. The average of all the ratings given to a financial adviser is presented in the Adviser profile and the Adviser rating.
5. What if I have a complaint?
   Even with our best endeavours, Rubii understand that sometimes a User may experience poor levels of response or service from a regulated financial adviser. We take your feedback very seriously and should you have a complaint in regard to an individual financial adviser or company, please contact us as soon as possible.
6. How do I create my own adviser list?
   Users can create, save and delete selected Advisers under the profile section of My Account.

For Advisers

1. Where do leads from Rubii come from?
   All leads are generated from real people who have registered with Rubii. Because our Users have to register before they are able to contact an Adviser, Rubii believe that Users are genuinely seeking financial advice related to your specific area of expertise. The aim of Rubii is to connect the right Users to the right Advisers and provide our registered financial advisers with consistently high quality leads.
2. Can I select leads by local area?
   You are able to decide which leads you would like to accept or decline. Your decision-making criteria may not just be geographical area but also income level, relevancy of goal for example.
3. Will Rubii charge me for receiving a meeting request?
   No, Rubii will not charge you for receiving a meeting request. It is only if you choose to accept a meeting that you will be charged a fee.
4. How many leads will I receive?
   There is no limit to the number of leads you could receive. However, the number you receive really depends on the number of Users that find your profile the best match to their search criteria.

   One of the best ways to maximise the number of leads you receive is to create a comprehensive profile, respond to Users within the specified timescales and provided the highest levels of services. Remember, Rubii encourages its Users to rate their Adviser and advice. This rating provides the core element to your 'Adviser ranking'.

5. What happens if I fail to respond to a meeting request within 1 working day?
   If you don't respond to a User within the stipulated 1 working day (10 hours) with either a meeting acceptance or decline, Rubii will send you an auto-reminder. However, at that same time Rubii will notify the User of other suitable financial advisers, who have been ranked high in their search result.
6. How quickly will I receive my leads?
   Notification that you have been selected will be delivered into your Account and email address in real-time.

   Only after you have accepted a meeting request will Rubii provide you with full User details and financial background (if user has selected to provide this). Therefore, how long it takes to fulfill your total order depends on the speed by which you are able to respond.

7. Are leads exclusive?
   All our leads are exclusive for the first 1 working day (10 hours). However, if you do not respond to a lead or decline the opportunity to take the lead it will be passed to another adviser. In this way Rubii does not provide the same lead twice or at the same time and is able to offer the User a higher quality of service than other providers.
8. How can I be sure my leads are genuine?
   Rubii dedicates a lot of time to monitoring the quality of leads. Unlike some other similar online services, Rubii provides some of the key details of the User requirements prior to purchase, such as their advice objectives and location, to allow you to decide whether you wish to accept or decline the meeting.
9. Does Rubii have a refund policy for invalid leads?
   Rubii does have a refund policy, which is contained within the Terms & Conditions for Advisers when you register. We ask you to read the refund policy before you join Rubii.
10. What is the cost of a lead?
    Leads are charged at a fixed cost. Leads are categorised by type, so you can choose the leads, which are most suited to your business needs. There are no hidden extras, you simply pay for each valid lead at the point of accepting a meeting request.

    Fees are subject to change, and Rubii's list of up-to-date fees are listed on your My Account, which we ask you to check.

11. Payments
    Payment to Rubii for leads is required by credit card via secure online transaction provider NetBanx.
12. How do I open an account?
    To register to receive leads from www.rubii.co.uk please fill in our online form. Once your application has been approved you can start to receive pre-qualified leads.

13. How do I credit/debit my account?
    If you have an outstanding account balance with Rubii via Netbanx that you wish to credit/debit please contact us at info@rubii.co.uk.
14. What do I do if I want to delete my account?
    If you wish to unsubscribe from Rubii as an adviser we will delist your profile within 5 working days. Please contact us at info@rubii.co.uk if you wish to do so. We will retain all user generated comments on record however.
